The CoOp Presents label has a mammoth set of killer releases lined up for 2021. Ahead of that, here’s one last high voltage shock from the Plug One compilation – this one courtesy of EVM128.

A core-member of the Selector’s Assemble crew, EVM128 is also co-label boss of the Dance Regular imprint and has had releases in the past on labels such as BBE, Studio Rockers, Local Talk, Rhythm Section, Wah Wah 45s and Tru Thoughts, amongst others.

As well as being nice behind the boards, he’s an amazing Selector, playing regularly on the crew’s Worldwide FM show, as well as Netil Radio monthly and past plays for Boiler Room and Dimensions Festival, with his eclectic blends of bruk, soul, jazz, house, garage, hip hop, ragga, afrobeat, UK funky and bass music.

EVM previously featured on the Selectors Assemble EPs, while ‘Bun Dat’ appeared on the label’s first compilation released late in 2020. For this remix package, we invite in two more core-members of the collective.

Cengiz keeps the energy levels of the original track up high, but takes the sound a little deeper & jazzier, inviting in the horns of Jay Phelps to accompany him on the mix. Xtra Brux takes the opposite direction with his ‘Inflammable’ mix, tough tough drums and heavy heavy hoover bass stabs turning it out throughout.

This one drops on digital worldwide April 9th and, as we say, plenty goodness to come from the CoOp Presents label imminently. Watch we work.
